Autumn Forests
Two activities in the Val d'Aran to enjoy the autumn colors.
October 31st
Circular route starting the hike in the town of Vielha itself, passing through a fir and mountain pine forest, and reaching a viewpoint where we can enjoy the majesty of the valley. The return will be along a trail with a steep descent to the Garonna river, and we will follow the camí reiau (royal path), which will gently lead us back to the starting point of the route.
November 1st
We will visit Bausen, a 30-minute drive from Vielha, one of the last villages in the valley before reaching the French border. We will do a circular route through a centenary beech forest worthy of fairy tales, and we will see a characteristic cemetery with a love story behind it, which every year brings people from all over the world to visit this small village in the valley.
