Terms of Use

1. Owner

This website is owned by Mikel Berga Roca, trading as Pirineu a Peu. You will find all identification details in the Legal Notice.

2. Purpose of the website

The website is informative: it presents the mountain activities we organise, publishes blog content and lets you contact us or request information and a place on an activity.

3. Activity information and prices

We try to keep the information for each activity (dates, itinerary, difficulty, equipment and prices) accurate and up to date. Published prices include applicable taxes. Before confirming the booking we will confirm the final price and what it includes.

4. Bookings

• Sending the “Join” form or writing to us on WhatsApp or by email is a request for information and a place; it is not yet a confirmed booking.
• We will contact you to confirm availability and explain the price, meeting point, required equipment and the activity conditions, including cancellation terms.
• The booking is formalised when we confirm it and, where applicable, you pay in the agreed way.

5. Changes and cancellations

• If we have to cancel or postpone an activity for reasons beyond your control (weather, safety or not reaching the minimum number of participants), we will offer you a new date or refund the amount you paid.
• For safety reasons, the guide may change the itinerary or schedule during the activity.
• Leisure activities on a specific date are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal (art. 103.l of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007). We will tell you our cancellation terms for cancellations on your side before confirming the booking.

6. Participants and safety

• Mountain activities involve inherent risks. You must follow the guide's instructions at all times.
• You must be physically fit for the level of the activity, bring the equipment indicated and tell us about any relevant health condition.
• The guide may decide that a person does not start or continue the activity if it puts their safety or the group's at risk.
• Minors must take part accompanied by, or with the authorisation of, their parent or legal guardian.
• The insurance included is stated on each activity page.

7. Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, logos and design of the website belong to Pirineu a Peu or are used with the authors' permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or use them commercially without prior permission.

8. Proper use of the website

When using the website you agree to:

• Not use it for illegal activities or to harm third parties.
• Not try to access restricted areas or interfere with its operation.
• Not introduce viruses or any other malicious code.
• Provide truthful information in the forms.

9. Liability for the website

We work to keep the website running properly, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for technical interruptions or for the content of third-party websites we link to.

10. Complaints

If you have any complaint, write to info@pirineuapeu.cat and we will reply as soon as possible. You can also request the official complaint forms of the Generalitat de Catalunya from us, or contact the Catalan Consumer Agency (Agència Catalana del Consum) or your local consumer office.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish and Catalan law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence will have jurisdiction over any dispute.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is always the one published on this page; bookings already confirmed are governed by the terms accepted when they were made.
