Snowshoeing in the Pallars
When the snow falls, the Pallars transforms: silent forests, frozen lakes and pure high-mountain scenery. Snowshoeing is the easiest, safest way to enjoy it — no previous experience needed, just the desire to walk through snow with a guide who knows the terrain.
Who snowshoeing is for
Everyone: if you can walk, you can snowshoe. We run gentle outings through forests and plateaus for families and beginners, and longer routes with more climbing for those after a full winter mountain day.
Where we go
The best areas of the Pallars depending on conditions: around Espot and the national park, the forests and passes of Pallars Sobirà and the Vall Fosca. The guide picks the itinerary with the best snow and safety each day.
Safety on snow
Winter demands judgement: snowpack, weather and terrain choice. Our outings include a certified guide and the necessary equipment, with itineraries chosen to enjoy the snow without risk.
The season
Normally December to March, depending on snowfall. The best light and freshest snow usually come in January and February. If there is not enough snow, we turn it into an equally spectacular winter hike.
